Waiver: This document “Repatriation of Human Remains” is issued by the ministry of health in Nigeria. We require this document for the repatriation to take place. If you are using a funeral directors (we can guide you in this regard if required) in Nigeria they will be able to liaise with the port official to obtain this document on your behalf. A family member or family friend could also arrange this document. This can then be emailed to us, as we do not need an original copy. – Some of the documents that you would require to obtain the Waiver come from ourselves so please let us know when you are ready and we can forward the relevant paperwork to you.
The timeframe from the initial arrangements to the day of the flight can vary based on several factors. At a minimum, one working week is required to complete all necessary paperwork. In certain circumstances, additional time may be needed to finalise all required documentation.
